Job Description

Ericsson is seeking a highly skilled International Business Development Director for Defense to join our Mission Critical Networks team. As a key member of our global sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the defense sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the MCN global head of sales for Defense and teams within Market Areas to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Lead opportunity qualification and develop sales strategies for qualified opportunities.
  • Guide the creation of opportunity engagement plans, define stages and targets, and manage resources required.
  • Map customer operational requirements into recommendations and solutions, and develop contents and supporting material for workshops and customer sessions.
  • Contribute to defining industrial setup, including Go-To-Market options, risk analysis, commercial, contractual, and negotiation strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience with a deep understanding of mobile communications market.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the Defense market, with a strong network and reputation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to plan, anticipate, and adapt to changes.
  • Perseverance and resilience in navigating long-sales cycles.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform regular market analysis and define business strategy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a multinational and diverse environment.
