Role Overview

At Otis Elevator Co., we're committed to providing exceptional service and solutions to our customers. As a Senior Sales Associate, Service, you'll play a critical role in achieving this goal.

You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of elevator units, maintaining good working relationships with existing customers, and developing new customers through cold calling, networking, bids, and tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of elevator units
  • Maintain good working relationships with existing customers
  • Develop new customers through cold calling, networking, bids, and tenders
  • Develop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets
  • Use Otis' sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results
  • Conduct sales negotiations and close deals
  • Collaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues

Requirements:

  • Business or technical degree or completed training as a technician or technical business administrator
  • 3 years of prior work experience
  • Initial experience in the sale of technical service agreements requiring consultation
  • Strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills
  • High level of commitment and reliability
  • Target-focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization
