About the Role

Expleo is seeking a highly skilled ERTMS (RBC) Senior System Design Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing onboard ERTMS (RBC) systems for rail projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer requirements and define technical ERTMS solutions
  • Create specifications and clarify interfaces to subsystems
  • Design system-level technical solutions for project/tender needs in RBC (ERTMS L2) for onboard or trackside projects
  • Train less experienced engineers and provide technical support
  • Work on high-quality solutions and ensure consistency of system design
Requirements
  • University degree (MEng) in engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in onboard or trackside RBC (ERTMS L2) system architecture
  • Technical knowledge: Signalling, RBC (ERTMS L2), UNISIG Subsets, English, IBM Doors
  • ERTMS (Onboard) knowledge and experience in Mainline Projects
