Job Description
We are seeking an ERTMS (RBC) Senior System Design Engineer to join our team at Expleo Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Analysis of customer requirements and definition of technical ERTMS solutions
- Creation of specifications and clarification of interfaces to subsystems
- Design of system-level technical solutions for project/tender needs in RBC (ERTMS L2) for onboard or trackside projects
- Definition of interfaces between involved subsystems (internal and external)
- Creation of a functional specification of the system/subsystems
- Control and allocation of tender/project requirements to various subsystems and management of overall system performance
- Coordination of architectural technical solution design and integration of subsystems, products, and other technical partners
- Ensuring consistency of system design work in terms of reuse, compatibility with previous versions, and adequacy to market
- Training less experienced engineers and providing required support based on expertise and experience
Requirements
- University degree (MEng) preferably in engineering
- Essential skills: rigorous, proactive, team player, process and result-oriented
- Strong motivational skills and ability to establish positive relationships with customers, contractors, and other departments
- Good learning and adaptation capabilities, nice communication and teaching skills
- Open-minded, flexible, and available
- Minimum 4 years of experience in onboard or trackside RBC (ERTMS L2) system architecture
- Technical knowledge: signalling, RBC (ERTMS L2), UNISIG subsets, English proficiency, IBM Doors experience
