About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled ERTMS (RBC) Senior System Design Engineer to join our team at Expleo. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions for onboard and trackside projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of customer requirements and definition of technical ERTMS solutions
- Creation of specifications and clarification of interfaces to subsystems
- Design of technical solutions for project/Tenders needs in RBC (ERTMS L2) for onboard or trackside projects
- Control and allocation of tender/project requirements to various subsystems and management of overall system performance
- Coordination of architectural technical solution design and integration of subsystems, products, and other technical partners
- Solution of technical issues concerning application projects
- Ensuring consistency of System design work in terms of reuse, compatibility with previous versions, and adequacy to market
- Training of less experienced engineers, providing required support based on expertise and experience
- Work on high level of quality
Requirements
- University degree (MEng) preferably in engineering
Essential Skills
- Behavioural Skills / Competencies: Rigorous, Proactive, Team Player, process and result oriented
- Ability to work closely with the project team and provide appropriate technical solutions and support
- Strong motivational skills, establishing positive relationships with customers, contractors, and other departments
- Good learning and adaptation capabilities, nice communication and teaching skills
- Open-minded, flexible, and available
Technical Knowledge / Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in onboard or trackside RBC (ERTMS L2) system architecture
- Technical knowledge: Signalling, RBC (ERTMS L2)
- Knowledge on UNISIG Subsets, English, IBM Doors
- Experience in Mainline Projects
