Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ERTMS (RBC) Senior System Design Engineer to join our team at Expleo Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions for onboard and trackside projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis of customer requirements and definition of technical ERTMS solutions
  • Creation of specifications and clarification of interfaces to subsystems
  • Design of system-level technical solutions for project and tender needs in RBC (ERTMS L2)
  • Definition of interfaces between involved subsystems (internal and external)
  • Creation of functional specifications of systems/subsystems
  • Control and allocation of tender/project requirements to various subsystems and management of overall system performance
  • Coordination of architectural technical solution design and integration of subsystems, products, and other technical partners
  • Ensuring consistency of system design work in terms of reuse, compatibility with previous versions, and adequacy to market
  • Training of less experienced engineers and provision of required support based on expertise and experience

Qualifications

  • University degree (MEng) preferably in engineering
  • Essential skills: rigorous, proactive, team player, process and result-oriented
  • Technical knowledge: signalling, RBC (ERTMS L2), UNISIG subsets, English proficiency, IBM Doors experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in onboard or trackside RBC (ERTMS L2) system architecture
