**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced ERTMS (RBC) Senior System Design Engineer to join our team at Expleo Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing technical solutions for onboard and trackside projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Analyze customer requirements and define technical ERTMS solutions
  • Create specifications and clarify interfaces to subsystems
  • Design system-level technical solutions for project and tender needs in RBC (ERTMS L2)
  • Define interfaces between involved subsystems (internal and external)
  • Create functional specifications of systems/subsystems
  • Control and allocate tender/project requirements to various subsystems and manage overall system performance
  • Coordinate architectural technical solution design and integration of subsystems, products, and other technical partners
  • Solve technical issues concerning application projects
  • Ensure consistency of system design work in terms of reuse, compatibility with previous versions, and adequacy to market
  • Train less experienced engineers and provide required support based on expertise and experience

**Requirements**

  • University degree (MEng) preferably in engineering
  • Essential skills: rigorous, proactive, team player, process and result-oriented
  • Strong motivational skills and ability to establish positive relationships with customers, contractors, and other departments
  • Good learning and adaptation capabilities, nice communication and teaching skills
  • Open-minded, flexible, and available
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in onboard or trackside RBC (ERTMS L2) system architecture
  • Technical knowledge: signalling, RBC (ERTMS L2), UNISIG subsets, English proficiency, IBM Doors experience
