Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Development Manager - Surface Treatment Expert to join our team in Spain and Portugal.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional with a technical background to take on a challenging role that requires strong commercial acumen, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve commercial targets and grow revenue in the Surface Treatment segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and demands.
  • Provide expert advice on technical matters, identifying solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to expand sales channels and increase market awareness.
  • Act as an advocate for assigned products, ensuring clear messaging and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in technical sales, preferably in the Surface Treatment filtration, Painting, and/or Automotive industries.
  • A strong educational background in mechanical engineering or a similar business degree.
  • Proven track record of success in high-added-value product selling, pricing, negotiations, and account management.
  • Ability to manage and service accounts across a broad geographical sales area.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information effectively.
