Job Title: International Operations Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced International Operations Director to join our team at SmartRental Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of all our hotels in the assigned geographical area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Lead, direct, and manage daily hotel operations, including hotel yearly budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, and managing performance reviews.
  • Policy Implementation: Implement and comply with company policies and standards, coordinate capital improvements and property improvement plans, respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns, initiate and facilitate meeting participation, and propose improvements.
  • Quality Management: Oversee service quality level, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, SOPs, and service compliance, including financial measurements and auditing.
  • Performance Improvement: Identify operational performance, productivity, and efficiency gaps and implement measures to correct deficiencies.
  • Team Management: Monitor and develop team member performance, particularly hotel managers and departmental managers, including providing supervision, professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and rewards.
  • Financial Management: Control operating expenses of hotel accounts and propose corrective initiatives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor P&L and STR reports.

Requirements:

  • Education: Hospitality Management or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 5 years' experience with international hotel chains and 2 years' multi-property management experience.
  • Skills: Knowledge of PMS and POS, fluent in Spanish and English, additional languages are a plus, and a driving license B.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility to travel and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
