We are seeking an experienced Operations Technician to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Continental Europe Operations Hub, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service delivery and accuracy within the operations function.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage system setup for new products and associated policy documentation/invoice production within agreed SLAs and quality standards.
  2. Own and maintain relevant systems, including template management, product and code mappings, segment references, and linkage with relevant teams.
  3. Develop an in-depth understanding of processes and adopt a continuous review ethos to improve, error-proof, automate, simplify, clarify, and eradicate non-value process steps.
  4. Manage Broker Network setup and maintenance, including Broker Novations, granting new access, amendments, and access removal, and providing Broker Assistance.
  5. Manage and respond within SLA to all general Broker correspondence received through local mailbox accounts.
  6. Manage manual processing of system fall-outs within SLA.
  7. Review and identify inconsistencies to maintain data quality across the system landscape.
  8. Stay current on all relevant product knowledge to SME products managed on Ignite/ICT and be a subject matter expert.
  9. Proactively gain and develop knowledge of all relevant lines of business to facilitate accurate processing for both retained and outsourced work elements.
  10. Review and monitor all outsourced work elements, identify problems or inefficiencies, track root cause analysis of rework, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  11. Produce relevant SOX reporting for Team Leader sign off.
  12. Undertake audits and Quality Control checking of outsourced and retained work elements to evidence the service being provided.
  13. Take personal responsibility for the Quality Control of own and outsourced work elements to ensure the highest standards of delivery are achieved.
  14. Triage, investigate, and resolve credit control queries within SLA.
Requirements
  • Italian (native or bilingual), English, and Spanish (High/advanced level) is a must.
  • Experience within a Processing role is essential, particularly experience of following written instructions, data entry, and document/report drafting, all functions related to the policy cycle.
  • Previous Commercial Insurance experience is preferred.
