About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Technician to join our team at Liberty Specialty Markets. As an Operations Technician, you will play a critical role in processing the reinsurance portfolio from policy to financial processing of premiums and claims, as well as associated reporting.

About the Responsibilities:

  1. Reinsurance Settlements: Efficiently and accurately book reinsurance settlements, monitor incoming payment transactions, and execute the first step of the dunning process.
  2. Reporting and Collaboration: Regularly report to the responsible underwriter and claims team, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation.
  3. Contract Data Management: Enter and maintain contract data in our policy administration system, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  4. International Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in other locations to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  5. Project Participation: Participate in projects aimed at digitalizing and further developing the division, driving innovation and process improvement.
  6. Cross-Functional Initiatives: Contribute to cross-divisional initiatives and projects, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared goals.

Requirements:

  1. Commercial Background: Successful completion of a commercial vocational training or business degree, preferably with a focus on accounting, finance, or insurance.
  2. Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English and German.
  3. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and analytical thinking skills with a deep understanding of data and figures.
  4. Initiative and Teamwork: Strong initiative and willingness to work independently, as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills to ensure successful collaboration.
