Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Ambassador to join our team at Marriott Vacations Worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling guest check-in and checkout efficiently, and ensuring a seamless experience for our owners and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle guest check-in and checkout in a professional manner, following company procedures.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of resort property, staff, services, and hours of operation.
- Develop a basic understanding of resort rates, vouchers, and discounts.
- Ensure the cleanliness and neatness of the Front Desk and office area.
- Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent hospitality skills and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
- Perform courtesy visits to ensure the highest level of satisfaction among owners and guests.
- Report any unusual occurrences to management and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate responses to guest issues and follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with the outcome.
Requirements:
- Hotel/Tourism degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English, Spanish, and German, with other European languages a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic accounting skills and working knowledge of Opera/Guestware/Concierge Assistant/Marsha software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that require frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum (based on location and experience).
