Power Generation Field Service Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Field Service Technician to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Zaragoza, Spain.

This permanent contract offers a hybrid work model, requiring English language proficiency and 25% travel within Spain.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proactive and customer-oriented approach
  • Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of power generation systems
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Medium English level and medium level field service work experience
  • Relevant mechanical certification and locally valid driving permit

Responsibilities include:

  • Efficient repairs and diagnosis of generators and components
  • Customer engagement and relationship building
  • Proactive service and problem escalation
  • Technical expertise and specialized tool usage
  • Preventative maintenance and accurate documentation
  • Safety and compliance adherence

Qualifications include:

  • Apprentice Certified Power Generation/Mechanical Technician (preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
  • Locally valid driving permit and medium English level
  • Medium level field service work experience

Previous experience in the industrial field, generating sets, and diesel mechanics is preferred. Experience in the Data Center environment and high experience in diesel engines are also advantageous.

This role requires availability to cover emergency service and a strong commitment to excellent service and technical expertise.
