Position Overview
We are seeking a System Operations L2 professional to support our airline partners. In this role, you will oversee the operational health of airline fleets by monitoring systems and implementing updates and fixes using Ansible. Collaboration with the Infrastructure team will be essential as you develop and deploy scripts and tools aimed at optimizing our environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote support for airline fleets.
- Monitor and analyze our systems to identify issues.
- Implement pre-existing fixes via Ansible to ensure continuous fleet operation.
- Create and deploy scripts to resolve bugs in Linux environments.
- Prepare new hardware (Linux servers) for upcoming deployments.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure and Product teams to communicate new challenges and devise solutions.
- Coordinate repairs with colleagues located around the globe.
- Contribute insights and experiences to enhance systems and processes.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- At least 3 years of experience with Linux OS (ssh, data transfer, log analysis, networking).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Grafana, Graylog, and Kibana.
- At least 2 years of experience in automating daily tasks and processes.
- Proficiency in Python/Go and Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with our technology stack: Docker, Ansible, and Git.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and KVM is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and network issues.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services and its tools is advantageous.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- This role requires regular travel.
