About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Assistant to join our Geochemistry Division in Malaga. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and calibrating LECO, AAS, ICPOES, and ICPMS instrumentations to deliver high-quality results to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis of samples using LECO, AAS, ICPOES, and ICPMS instrumentation
  • Perform instrument/equipment calibration and maintenance as required
  • Troubleshoot instrument/quality issues
  • Calibrate standards and instrument QC solutions
  • Review and ensure the quality of raw data results
  • Meet client turn-around times
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification or Diploma in a Chemistry-related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus
  • Previous or similar instrumentation experience
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and produce accurate results
  • Willingness to work shift work
