About the Role

The Geochemistry Division in Malaga is seeking a Senior Laboratory Assistant to join our team of experts in delivering high-quality results to our clients.

This is a full-time role with primary responsibilities including the operation and calibration of LECO, AAS, ICPOES, and ICPMS instrumentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis of samples using LECO, AAS, ICPOES, and ICPMS instrumentation
  • Perform instrument/equipment calibration and maintenance as required
  • Troubleshooting of instrument/quality issues
  • Calibration of standards and instrument QC solutions
  • QC raw data review of results
  • Ensuring that client turn-around times are met
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification or Diploma in a Chemistry related field is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus
  • Previous or similar instrumentation experience is desirable
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and produce accurate results
  • Willingness to work shift work
