Regulatory Compliance Manager - UK & EU Focused

About the Role

The Regulatory Compliance Manager will sit within the Regulatory Compliance department, reporting to the Head of Compliance Advisory and to the Head of Compliance Belgium. This role will be both UK and EU focused, with all work performed in English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new controls based on applicable regulations, ensuring compliance with MiFID II, EMIR, MIFIR, and technical standards.
  • Provide expert knowledge in reading, understanding, and providing analysis of regulation both in the EU and abroad.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address recommendations and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain regulatory reporting obligations and transaction reporting.
  • Conduct horizon scanning and develop gap analysis to identify new regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement training programs for various business areas, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience working in a financial regulated institution, specializing in MiFID and FX Derivative products.
  • Expert understanding of MiFID II, EMIR, MIFIR, and technical standards as they apply to Investment Firms.
  • Knowledge and understanding of PSD2 and ability to interpret and provide advisory on the performance of FX Payments.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with fluency in English, both written and verbal.
