Ebury is a leading FinTech firm that prioritizes compliance and risk management. We're seeking a skilled Screening Graduate to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing secure and reliable financial services.

Role Overview

The Screening Graduate will play a critical role in ensuring the onboarding process for our clients is smooth and compliant with regulatory requirements. This involves conducting thorough reviews and investigations to identify potential risks and ensure our clients meet our Know Your Customer (KYC) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and investigate matches against sanctions, PEPs, adverse media, and internal lists in a timely manner
  • Conduct real-time and retrospective rules-based monitoring on client transactions and process alerts as necessary
  • Respond to Requests For Information on transactions from banking partners
  • Communicate with internal departments and escalate problems swiftly when needed
  • Complete allocated tasks with focus and in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Diligent and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Proactive and able to work under pressure with strict timeframes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Cooperative and comfortable working in a team environment
  • Curious and eager to learn, with a willingness to ask questions and seek clarification
  • Adaptable and able to cope with changing products, processes, and procedures
