Job Title: Financial Crime Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Hybrid: 4 days a week office based working, 1 day working from home

Job Overview:

As a Financial Crime Quality Assurance Specialist at Ebury, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with financial regulations and laws. You will be responsible for conducting quality assurance reviews across all risk categories and client types, with a focus on high-risk clients. Your goal will be to ensure that all client due diligence and enhanced due diligence measures are conducted in line with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as Ebury's internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic level 3 independent QA checks on new clients, one month post on-boarding
  • QA on Reassessment client files
  • QA on Screening
  • QA on Transaction Monitoring
  • QA on Payment Screening
  • Conduct deep dives and thematic reviews
  • Manage and own staff feedback process
  • Track remedial actions
  • Ensure that sufficient files are reviewed, in line with targets to ensure the monthly objectives of the team are met
  • Hold calibration forums with the 1st line QC Team
  • Liaise with both the Onboarding and Screening Teams to deliver any necessary training or address any non-compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive lines of communication with the Onboarding and Screening Teams
  • Liaise with the Reassessment Team to request KYC refresh reviews, on any files found to be off side with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the wider Compliance team to assist in achieving the global compliance calendar deliverables

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of financial regulations and laws, as well as experience in quality assurance and risk management. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
