About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team. As a QA Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Quality Assurance Expertise: Provide expert guidance on quality assurance processes and methodologies to ensure high-quality software products.
  2. Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure thorough testing of software products.
  3. Team Leadership: Lead and manage QA teams to ensure effective testing and quality assurance processes.
  4. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and project management, to ensure seamless integration of QA processes.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  1. 6+ years of QA experience with a strong background in software testing and quality assurance.
  2. 4+ years of experience as a functional QA engineer in the SAP field.
  3. Experience in managing QA processes, risk analysis, resource planning, and project estimation.
  4. Relevant experience in SAP environments, preferably in Logistics.
  5. Good understanding of testing methodologies (ISTQB, TMap, etc.).
  6. Strong communication and reporting skills.
  7. Entrepreneurial mindset and great networking skills.
  8. Focus on operational, accountable, and results-oriented excellence.
  9. Self-directed, independent, and comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous, and often multi-directional work environments.
  10. Fluent in spoken and written English.
  11. Experience working in multicultural environments.
Nice to Have Skills
  1. Experience in SAP SM, DM.
  2. Experience in UFT or other test automation tools.
