About the RoleThe Regulatory Compliance Manager will sit within the Regulatory Compliance department, reporting to the Head of Compliance Advisory and the Head of Compliance Belgium. This role will be both UK and EU focused, with all work performed in English.
Responsibilities- Previous experience working at a Fintech, specializing in MiFID and FX Derivative products.
- At least 4 years of previous working experience within a financial regulated institution.
- Expert understanding of MiFID II, EMIR, MIFIR, and technical standards as they apply to Investment Firms.
- Knowledge and understanding of PSD2 and ability to interpret and provide advisory on the performance of FX Payments.
- Development and implementation of new controls based on applicable regulations.
- Experience and responsible for advisory in controls, including Complaints, breaches, Conflicts of Interest, Personal Account Dealing, and others.
- Previous knowledge in working with internal and external auditors and dealing with recommendations.
- Knowledge and previous experience in Policy drafting, reviewing, and development.
- Knowledge and previous experience in regulatory reporting obligations and transaction reporting.
- Responsible for the ongoing performance of Horizon Scanning and development of Gap Analysis as to new requirements.
- Previous experience in the development of Frameworks and Proposals for the development of new verticals and products.
- Knowledge in completing Management Information.
- Creation and ongoing development of trainings to various business areas.
This role requires excellent communication skills, with fluency in English, both written and verbal. The working environment is fast-paced, agile, and highly results-oriented, so the individual must be comfortable working within tight deadlines and with various projects and jurisdictions.
