Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced International Director of Operations to lead our hotel operations in a specific geographical area. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of all hotels within their assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Excellence: Ensure the highest level of operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all hotels in the assigned region.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, service quality, and financial performance.
- Leadership and Development: Lead and manage hotel directors and departmental managers, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the success of the team.
- Capital Improvements: Coordinate capital improvements and property improvement plans to enhance the overall quality and value of our hotels.
- Guest Experience: Oversee the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, ensuring that all hotels meet the highest standards of service quality, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Monitor and control operating expenses, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the COO to develop and implement strategic plans, aligning with the company's overall vision and goals.
- Education: Hospitality Management or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 10 years' experience with international hotel chains, 5-year multi-property management experience.
- Skills: Knowledge of PMS and POS systems, fluent in Spanish and English (additional languages are a plus), driving license B.
- Personal Qualities: Strong leadership and management skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexibility to travel.
