Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power System Engineer to join our Grid Connection department. As a key member of our Technology team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing electrical simulation models, as well as contributing to the future development and design of our electrical simulation model platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize electrical simulation models in various simulation tools, including Matlab/Simulink, DigSilent PF & PSS/E.
  • Integrate dll's of different systems into a model.
  • Use automatic code generation tools for generating dll's of systems.
  • Test model performance and analyze results.
  • Provide inputs to other departments.
  • Assess model performance against WTG capabilities.
  • Analyze Modelling functionalities.
  • Document activities, including design reports, validation reports, and user manuals.
  • Develop automation tools for running simulations and creating reports automatically.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in model development of electrical simulation models.
  • Demonstrable experience with one or more of the following simulation tools: Matlab/Simulink, DigSilent PF, PSS/E, CAD/EMTDC.
  • Demonstrable experience with one or more of the following software languages: C/C++, Fortran, Python.
  • Experience in various kinds of simulation studies with a focus on grid compliance is an advantage.
