Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Simulation Model Developer to join our Grid Connection department. As a key member of our Technology team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing electrical simulation models, as well as participating in the future development and design of our electrical simulation model platform.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and optimize electrical simulation models in various simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, DigSilent PF & PSS/E.
- Integrate dll's of different systems into a model.
- Use automatic code generation tools for generating a dll of a system.
- Test model performance and analysis results. Provide inputs to other departments.
- Assess model performance against WTG capabilities.
- Analyze Modelling functionalities.
- Document activities: design report, validation reports, user manuals.
- Develop automatization tools so that they can run simulations and create reports automatically.
- Include modifications in the models.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in model development of electrical simulation models.
- Demonstrable experience with one or more of the following simulation tools: Matlab/Simulink, DigSilent PF, PSS/E, PSCAD/EMTDC.
- Proficiency in software languages such as C/C++, Fortran, Python.
- Experience in various kinds of simulation studies with focus on grid compliance.
