Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Power System Engineer to join our Grid Connection department. As a key member of our Technology team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing electrical simulation models, as well as contributing to the future development and design of our electrical simulation model platform.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical Simulation Model Development: Develop and optimize electrical simulation models in various simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, DigSilent PF & PSS/E.
- Model Integration: Integrate dll's of different systems into a model.
- Automatic Code Generation: Use automatic code generation tool for generating a dll of a system.
- Model Testing and Analysis: Test model performance and analyze results.
- Collaboration and Communication: Provide inputs to other departments and assess model performance against WTG capabilities.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document activities, including design reports, validation reports, and user manuals.
- Automation and Optimization: Develop automation tools to run simulations and create reports automatically.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in model development of electrical simulation models.
- Demonstrable experience with one or more of the following simulation tools: Matlab/Simulink, DigSilent PF, PSS/E, PSCAD/EMTDC.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following software languages: C/C++, Fortran, Python.
- Experience in various kinds of simulation studies with a focus on grid compliance.
