Director of Food and Beverage

Join Kimpton Aysla Mallorca as a key member of our Executive committee, responsible for driving revenue growth and supporting the hotel's brand positioning and image. As Director of Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for proposing and executing food and beverage plans that promote revenue generation among key customer segments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve budgeted revenues and prepare monthly forecasts
  • Monitor and control food, beverage, and labor costs
  • Maximize profitability within all areas of the food and beverage department
  • Develop and implement local food and beverage marketing programs
  • Monitor local competitors and industry trends
  • Review and approve menu design and concepts with Executive Chef
  • Ensure all staff is properly trained on quality and service standards
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
  • Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or any related field
  • 5+ years' experience leading the F&B department in a boutique/luxury hotel
  • Must be fluent in local languages and English, additional languages will be highly valuable
  • Oracle MICROS knowledge will be highly valuable
  • Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, emphatic, team-worker, and with passion for service
