About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Total Reward Manager to join our team at Alstom's Head Office in Madrid. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing our compensation and benefits strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy that aligns with company objectives and remains competitive in the local market.
  • Provide advisory support to senior management and HR staff on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Design and implement effective compensation and incentive programs, flexible benefits packages, and other rewards initiatives to attract and retain high-performing employees.
  • Manage projects related to rewards, including annual salary and bonus reviews, benefits renewals, and guaranteeing data accuracy across HR systems.
  • Propose budget for salary review and define salary bands, propose new country reward policies in line with Group objectives, and propose or review compensation packages.
  • Support the benefits administration and flexible benefits plan, review and approve benefits contract renewal, and provide annual information to Finance for annual reports.
  • Support job evaluation and grading, international mobility process, and taxation management for expatriates, and regular reporting and analysis on compensation and benefits trends to key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration or Economic Sciences, with a master's degree in Human Resources being an asset.
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Compensation & Benefits Consultant or Finance Controller.
  • Spanish (mandatory) and fluent in English.
  • High analytical competencies and skilled in Excel, with the ability to communicate with precision and transparency.
  • Skilled to communicate, coach, and train managers, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
