About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Manager to join our Alexa Shopping Operations team at Amazon. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of AI Data Validators and AI Validator Leads, ensuring high-quality delivery under aggressive deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations, prioritizing tasks and delivering results based on business needs.
  • Plan capacity, commit to volume, and manage resources, queues, shifts, cross-training, and leave management.
  • Track weekly/monthly metrics and process reviews with internal and external stakeholders across time zones.
  • Maximize productivity and process efficiency through process standardization, strong documentation, supervision, analysis, and performance feedback.
  • Initiate and lead process improvement projects, presenting solution proposals and implementing them in other applicable operational areas.
  • Own team hiring, performance, and development through performance metrics, training, feedback, and coaching.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience of 4+ years and 2+ years of people management.
  • Excellent communication (written & oral), strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to support multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in French, German, Japanese, or Spanish language is preferred.
  • Business Analytics experience and Six Sigma/Green Belt Certification are a plus.
