Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Security Sales Specialist to join our team at NTT DATA in Madrid. As a Security Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for pursuing and landing qualified leads, identifying new opportunities, and presenting solutions to clients that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive pipeline to achieve allocated security budget numbers.
  2. Develop and maintain clear account plans for appropriate clients and targets.
  3. Collaborate with sales teams to successfully close deals.
  4. Work closely with other in-territory counterparts and matrix teams to achieve shared goals.
  5. Use sales methodologies and tools to drive the sales process.
  6. Develop and implement opportunity plans to provide regular check-ins with clients.

Requirements

  1. Seasoned understanding of security principles, concepts, and technologies.
  2. Seasoned understanding of the technical concepts of Security solutions.
  3. Displays success in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals.
  4. Seasoned proficiency in developing and encouraging meaningful customer relationships.
  5. Displays ability to deliver engaging sales presentations and elevator pitches.
  6. Close attention to maintaining up-to-date, accurate sales forecast and close plans.
  7. Seasoned proficiency in team selling approach.
  8. Seasoned knowledge of competitors and ability to apply competing successful sales strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Technical or Sales field or related.
  2. Certified in industry relevant structured sales methodologies and negotiation skills.
  3. Preferred certifications (but not limited to) CISSP, CompTIA Security+, GISF.
