Job Opportunity at the European Space Agency

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Science Education Specialist. This role will play a crucial part in coordinating and managing the CESAR education initiative, working closely with our partners and the ESA Education Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate CESAR efforts with our partners and the ESA Education Office on various activities, including school and university visits, educational material creation, and teacher training.
  • Develop and manage regular CESAR training opportunities for school teachers, ensuring optimal access to educational resources.
  • Oversee and participate in educational events, such as video-conferences and remote operations of CESAR educational telescopes.
  • Support the Head of the Science Communication and Education Section in planning and implementing the optimal use of SCI resources dedicated to communication and education.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant domain.
  • Experience in space science and science communication, project management, contract management, and designing educational activities.
  • Advanced level in Spanish (CEFR level C1 or C2).
  • Strong result orientation, operational efficiency, and relationship management skills.
