About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Science Education Specialist and Communication Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of our education and communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the CESAR education initiative, working closely with our partners and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of education activities.
  • Develop and implement education materials and resources for astronomy, heliophysics, and planetary science, with a focus on accessibility and inclusion.
  • Manage and develop regular CESAR training opportunities for school teachers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively integrate our education activities into their curriculum.
  • Oversee and participate in other educational events, such as video-conferences and remote operations of CESAR educational telescopes, to engage and inspire students and teachers.
  • Ensure optimal access to educational resources through the continuous improvement of the CESAR educational website.
Requirements
  • Experience in space science and science communication, with a strong understanding of the latest developments and trends in the field.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing contracts and developing education materials and resources.
  • Strong result orientation, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including teachers, students, and partners.
Education and Qualifications

A master's degree in a relevant domain is required for this post. In addition, an advanced level in Spanish (equivalent to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages CEFR level of C1 or C2) is also required.
