At the European Space Agency - ESA, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Science Education and Communication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Science Communication and Education Section, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing the Communication and Education Strategy for the Science Directorate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the CESAR education initiative, a joint initiative by ESA, INTA, and ISDEFE to promote and develop educational activities in Spain and Europe. This includes creating educational material, managing and developing regular CESAR training opportunities for school teachers, and overseeing educational events such as video-conferences and remote operations of CESAR educational telescopes.

In addition, the candidate will support the Head of the Science Communication and Education section in planning and implementing the optimal use of SCI resources dedicated to communication and education, including managing and monitoring existing contracts and setting up new contracts to strengthen the impact and reach of available resources.

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in a relevant domain, experience in space science and science communication, project management, contract management, and designing, developing, and delivering educational activities. They will also have an advanced level in Spanish and a good knowledge of English or French.
