Job Summary:

Hitachi Energy is seeking a motivated and committed Technical Sales Specialist to join our Hub Europe Pre-Sales Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales team in their sales effort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales team in their sales effort
  • Processing specialized product knowledge in a single product or product line
  • Delivering in-depth presentations and product demonstrations to clients and sales representatives
  • Early interactions with existing and potential customers for the purpose of joint development of solutions together with the sales team
  • Possessing capability for the installation component of product/service solutions and support in developing prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of product solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with relevant technical work experience
  • Substation Automation knowledge and experience within Offshore projects and solutions, especially in the SCADA area of electrical HV solution applications
  • Preferable with site experience and cyber security knowledge
  • Understanding the Grid connection in Offshore Wind projects and solutions, preferably also with some Wired communication or SCADA experience
  • Digital substation experience will be a plus
