About the Role

GitLab is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partner Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our ecosystem growth team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth and revenue through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Ecosystem Partner Initiatives: Develop and execute comprehensive joint business plans with partners, including detailed partner account mapping, go-to-market strategies, and governance models.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Build, maintain, and manage relationships with key partners, including local System Integrators, Solution providers, Managed Services Partners, and Hyperscalers.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Identify and support regional-specific demand generation/pipeline building activities with strategic partners to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate with sales leadership, support, and other teams to ensure meeting sales targets and ecosystem sales objectives.
  • Provide Strategic Insights: Provide cloud-related weekly forecasts and/or progress reports to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years in software development tools and/or application lifecycle management solutions via strategic partnerships.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of strategic ecosystem partners, industry dynamics, and advanced business operations.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Results-Oriented: Results-oriented perspective with a focus on driving revenue growth and ecosystem expansion.
