Customer Support Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Support Agent to join our dynamic team at Personalbüro U. Herrmann. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional travel-related support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide timely support for travel-related questions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Make flight reservations and modify existing reservations using Amadeus, utilizing your expertise in ticketing and travel industry systems.
  • Verify ticket rules and regulations regarding cancellations and changes, providing accurate and reliable information to customers.
  • Offer prompt, reliable, and accurate information to customers, maintaining effective communication and ensuring timely resolution of customer calls.
  • Log all interactions accurately using our Contact Management System, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with team members.
  • Adapt your support approach to accommodate customers of varying experience levels, providing personalized support and solutions.
  • Educate customers on support options and steps taken to resolve their issues, ensuring a high level of customer understanding and satisfaction.
  • Maintain positive communication with team members, customers, and partners, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate department following our established procedures, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Requirements:
  • Native/fluent Danish spoken and written, with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (training, materials, systems, and technical terminology), with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service and communication.
  • Ticketing skills and familiarity with IATA preferred but not required, with a strong understanding of travel industry systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Amadeus reservation system, with the ability to navigate and utilize the system effectively.
  • Customer service experience in the travel industry is an asset, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations.
  • Previous business travel experience is an asset, with a strong understanding of travel industry procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent customer service, written, verbal, and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with computer technology and devices (e.g., PCs, tablets, smartphones), with a strong understanding of software applications and systems.
  • Fluency in the market's language (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Motivated and positive individual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with a strong understanding of collaboration and communication.
  • Strong multitasking, keyboarding, and active listening skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Skillful paraphrasing of conversations, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to find solutions following written procedures and guidelines, with a strong understanding of problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Takes ownership of customer issues, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and resolution.
  • Effective in defusing angry customers through social and customer skills, with a strong understanding of conflict resolution and customer service.
