Job Title: Regional Business Development Representative

As a key member of our team at Institut Straumann Ag, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and expanding market presence within a designated geographic region. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategic initiatives to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the polymer-based medical devices and ortho products sector.



Key Responsibilities


  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's global footprint and drive revenue growth, with a focus on polymer-based medical devices and ortho products.
  2. Identify target markets and clients for business development initiatives within the polymer-based medical devices and ortho products.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies in specified region(s), particularly in the polymer-based medical devices and ortho products.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and regulatory affairs, to execute go-to-market strategies for polymer-based medical devices and ortho products.
  5. Ongoing reporting of current market trends, customer strategies, and competition in the polymer-based medical devices and ortho products.
  6. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts related to polymer science, medical devices, and ortho products to senior management.
  7. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's polymer-based products, orthopedic implants, and medical device portfolio, including their clinical applications, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
  8. Serve as the secondary point of contact for key client accounts in the medical device and ortho sectors, addressing their needs, inquiries, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Travel domestically and internationally as required to meet with clients, attend industry conferences, and represent the company at key events in the medical device and ortho fields.
  10. Meet or exceed assigned KPI(s) for this position.


Requirements

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing, with 3+ years' experience in business development and sales, a strong background in the medical/orthodontic industry, and experience working with polymer materials and understanding their applications and properties.



Preferred qualifications include knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes, regulations, and quality standards, strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
