About the RoleThe Technical Application Scientist is part of our Life Sciences Solutions Group, which is a key contributor to our company's success. You'll work with a talented team to provide pre- and post-sales technical support for our Nalgene/Nunc consumer and laboratory plastics products. Your expertise will help customers overcome technical challenges and make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or web form, using all available resources to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with experts within our organization to tackle complex problems and develop solutions.
- Accurately record customer interactions and feedback in our CRM system, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Gather commercial and technological trends to create technical tips, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Recommend updates to our knowledge databases, websites, and other resources.
- Present technical updates to colleagues and contribute to department meetings.
- Participate in training and continuing education on new products and technologies.
- Perform other related tasks as opportunities arise.
- B.S., B.A., or M.S. in life sciences or chemistry or a related field.
- 2-10 years of laboratory experience.
- Prior experience in customer service or a customer-facing role is a plus.
