About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Application Specialist to join our team at Ecolab. As a key member of our Water Treatment division, you will be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth through consultative sales and account leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support district sales personnel in handling customer service calls and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Participate in design reviews, new application start-ups, and evaluations to ensure system assurance and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in critiquing products for serviceability, performance, and reliability, and interact with internal resources to drive continuous improvement.
- Assess on-site field problems and operate testing equipment to return systems to customer conformance.
- Coordinate and manage replacement parts programs to ensure timely delivery of components.
- Prepare reports detailing technical problems and solutions to initiate corrective product modifications and process changes.
- Develop and maintain troubleshooting service guides and bulletins, and distribute to departments as needed.
- Qualify, coordinate, and monitor outside subcontractor networks to ensure repair timelines and customer satisfaction.
- Work with district personnel to improve policies and procedures, resulting in increased customer satisfaction.
- Provide installation resource services on a project basis to satisfy customer needs.
- Provide training to first-line account managers on company offerings and resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advances through continuous education.
Territory Information:
- This position is based in Zaragoza, covering a 200 km radius of the surrounding area, including Aragon, La Rioja, and Navarra.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or chemistry.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong digital, analytical, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge or field support experience in water treatment.
- Data management skills.
