Job Title: Technical Application Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Application Engineer to join our team at Ecolab. As a key member of our Nalco Water Light Division, you will be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth through the delivery of exceptional technical support and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to district sales personnel, ensuring seamless delivery of company programs and services to existing customers.
  • Participate in design reviews, new application start-ups, and evaluations to ensure the highest level of system performance and reliability.
  • Assist in critiquing products for serviceability, performance, and reliability, and interact with internal resources to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and manage replacement parts programs with manufacturing plants to ensure timely delivery of components.
  • Prepare reports detailing technical problems and solutions, and document value provided to customers.
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting service guides and bulletins, and distribute to departments as required.
  • Qualify, coordinate, and monitor outside subcontractor networks to ensure repair timelines are maintained and customer satisfaction is met.
  • Work with district personnel to drive continuous improvement of policies and procedures, resulting in increased customer satisfaction.
  • Provide installation resource services on a project request basis, including field surveys, installation checklists, and rollout support services.
  • Train first-line account managers on company offerings and resources available to assist in answering customer questions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or chemistry.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Strong digital, analytical, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical knowledge or field support experience in water treatment.
  • Data management skills.
