Position Overview

The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within a designated sales territory. This role involves managing and developing a pipeline of sales opportunities, working closely with Sales Development Representatives, field-based Territory Sales Executives, and channel partners to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and pursue high-potential sales opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to ensure timely follow-up on sales leads
  • Generate and close new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
  • Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers, understanding their business needs, timelines, and budgets
  • Communicate the value of Autodesk solutions to prospects and customers
  • Utilize various communication channels, including phone, email, and web-based platforms, to connect with customers
  • Manage in-person sales meetings to close deals
  • Leverage field-based Territory Sales Executives and channel partners to drive sales performance
  • Develop and manage sales teams to drive value into the client base
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting and updates to sales managers

Requirements

  • Strong organizational, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation skills for online presentations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent sales cycles
  • Ability to collaborate with virtual team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Drive to continually improve sales skills through coaching, self-learning, and Autodesk's sales career progression framework
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English and any Nordic language
