Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Consultant to join our Product Team Business Intelligence Finance & Procurement. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting complex software and application components in the Business Intelligence environment of BASF Group.
Responsibilities- Consult on technical questions in the context of business applications for reporting and create specifications based on technical requirements for projects and change requests.
- Develop software independently and manage developments in cooperation with internal colleagues or external service providers.
- Run maintenance tasks, quality assurance measures, and test activities, and support the development of support concepts.
- Ensure smooth service operation of applications.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business informatics, business administration with a focus on IT, or computer science with a focus on business administration.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in IT-related topics.
- Business intelligence basic skills by education or practical experience of at least 1 year.
- Excellent analytical skills, service orientation, and communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Experience in SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Programming skills in ABAP/ABAP OO, SQL, HANA native, or other 3 GL development languages.
- Experience in finance or procurement reporting application design and/or finance or procurement processes.
- Experience working agile with a DevOps mindset.
