Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Consultant to join our Product Team - Business Intelligence for Sustainability, EHS & Distribution. As a key member of our team, you will design, implement, and support complex software applications in the Business Intelligence environment of BASF Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult on technical questions related to business applications for reporting and create concepts and specifications based on technical requirements for projects and change requests.
  • Develop software applications on your own or in a team, utilizing your expertise in SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and ABAP programming languages.
  • Collaborate with external providers to resolve complex issues and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field with a focus on IT or Computer Science.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in IT-related topics, with a strong background in software development and business intelligence.
  • Experience working with SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and ABAP programming languages, as well as IT operations aspects of a SAP Business Warehouse.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with programming in ABAP OO and HANA native.
  • Experience working in an agile environment with a DevOps mindset.
