About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Country Financial Director to join our team at Carrier Global Corporation. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for developing, directing, planning, and evaluating accounting activities to ensure they are in alignment with US GAAP and Corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and own control reporting activities in accordance with US GAAP, local GAAP, and Carrier policies for all country requirements.
  • Owning the actuals reporting, financial statement analysis and reporting for country activities.
  • Supporting Business Unit Controllership Leaders with key initiatives and BU focus items, as needed.
  • Owning the full control environment for SOX reportable entities.
  • Ability to communicate and influence key Business Partners, Controllers, Finance Leads and external parties.
  • Overseeing, identifying, communicating, and resolving financial and internal control matters.
  • Providing key support to Global Tax, internal and external auditors, and external service providers.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in a finance or accounting role, demonstrating a robust understanding of financial management, reporting, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Polish or Spanish is advantageous and considered a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, fostering collaboration and support within the department and across the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to management, shared service center and other employees.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid working model.
