Position Overview

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Deliver precise, timely, and insightful financial and operational performance evaluations at the country or cluster level, facilitating monthly reviews.
- Collaborate closely with the Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to design, plan, and communicate the budget, forecasts, and five-year plans for the country.
- Ensure accuracy in country P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow to identify corrective actions for any deviations from established performance targets.
- Serve as a business partner within the region, challenging business decisions and assumptions through data-driven support and thorough reviews.
- Promote standardization and harmonization of processes and KPIs across the region, facilitating the sharing of best practices among countries.
- Work in alignment with relevant executives, functional heads, and country CFOs to continuously enhance processes and ensure effective financial control and risk management.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Oversee month-end closing processes, including comprehensive P&L and balance sheet analysis, KPI overview, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate closely with local controllers and CFOs as a business partner to aid decision-making within the region.
- Actively participate in significant projects and transformation initiatives across countries.
- Serve as a core member of the country Business Performance Review (BPR), ensuring completeness of presentations, analysis, and tracking of decisions.
- Evaluate business cases for relevant projects and initiatives within the region.
- Supervise the implementation of the finance cycle (budgeting, forecasting, and five-year planning) for the region.
- Collect and analyze materials for Business Performance Reviews, ensuring decisions are formalized and tracked.
- Collaborate with Group FP&A to ensure adherence to finance cycle methods, processes, and deadlines.
- Lead a specialized topic area such as risk management, procurement, pricing, or operations.
- Act as the primary contact for all HQ functions regarding finance-related topics in the region.

Qualifications

A university degree in Business Management, Economics, or a related field is required.

Experience and Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years of finance experience, ideally with international exposure in finance support, business partnership, or external auditing, is essential. A strong financial background with an understanding of business and market dynamics is crucial for this role.
- Proven experience in collaborating with stakeholders across all levels within financial, business planning, forecasting, and revenue management teams.

Proficiency in English is required.
