Finance Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Analyst to join our PLS Commercial Programs team at Expedia Group, Inc.

About the Role:

As a Finance Analyst, you will partner closely with the Credit Management Reporting Team and various stakeholders across Expedia Group to provide financial insights, deliver meaningful analysis, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Finance Manager in understanding the financial impact of commercial programs and operational issues.
  • Create and maintain financial models to support business casing and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Management Reporting team to develop and enhance financial reports.
  • Extract insights from raw data, identifying trends, variances, and effectively communicate these findings.
  • Assist in the development of monthly performance packs for leadership.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience within a finance function.
  • Strong modelling skills with the ability to analyse raw data and convert into useful insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort in being a subject matter expert.
  • Ability to present data and insights in a visually compelling format.
