About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned claims professional to make a meaningful impact on our organization. As a Claims Quality Review Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating closed and open claim files across multiple regions and lines of business. You will ensure that company procedures are followed, communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities- Review and evaluate closed and open claim files to ensure adherence to BHSI's Claims Service Standards
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather information and facilitate collaboration
- Lead internal claim reviews, including pre-review data analysis, sample selection, and communication with relevant claims management
- Conduct trend analysis and prepare specialized reporting for multiple lines of business and regions
- Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and work with claims management to implement initiatives
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years of experience handling claims for a commercial insurance carrier
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Able to thrive in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be service and risk-management oriented
- A self-starter able to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Intermediate to expert skills in working with MS Excel
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
