We are looking for a committed Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) Technician to join our team. If you are enthusiastic about fostering a culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship, we want to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining the Integrated Management System (IMS) in alignment with ISO standards.
  • Monitoring and assessing the IMS across various workplace locations and departments.
  • Managing IMS documentation, including the creation, distribution, and control of manuals, procedures, and records.
  • Planning, executing, and documenting internal audits while collaborating to address non-conformities.
  • Participating in external and customer audits, providing support to workplace supervisors and managers.
  • Conducting investigations and responses to incidents, analyzing risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Advising, informing, and motivating all areas of the company regarding IMS application and contributing to training and awareness initiatives.
  • Collaborating in the assessment of the organization's environmental performance, including identifying environmental aspects and gathering relevant data.
  • Identifying and evaluating compliance with system, legal, and contractual requirements.

Preferred qualifications and skills:

  • University degree with specialized training in Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety, along with several years of experience in similar roles.
  • Specific training in management systems and ISO standards 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018. Familiarity with additional standards is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Highly organized with strong task planning and synthesis capabilities.
  • Ability to engage with diverse individuals and maintain a positive interpersonal style with the team and other stakeholders. Willingness to collaborate effectively.
  • Proven effectiveness in problem analysis and identifying viable solutions.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and integrity in daily responsibilities.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
