About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at LanguageWire. As a Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with Information Security requirements and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ensure compliance with ISO27001 and other relevant standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Information Security and GDPR, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Coordinate and lead compliance assessments and audits, interpreting and analyzing reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain compliance procedures and documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Group Quality Manager and Platform Security Engineer to ensure the company's compliance certifications are maintained and updated.
Requirements
  • Relevant education (minimum bachelor's level) in a field such as law, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT and security-related subjects or a similar position.
  • Proven experience in ISO27001, GDPR, or equivalent data protection standards.
  • Experience in answering customer requests related to IT security and GDPR.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of EU- and country-specific laws concerning data acquisition, protection, and transmission.
  • Keen to stay updated with the latest developments in GDPR and data protection regulations.
