At Act Second, we are seeking a talented Strategic Marketing Expert to join our dynamic team. With a focus on retention marketing, this role offers the opportunity to craft and implement engaging strategies that drive customer loyalty and repeat purchases.

About the Role

This is a fantastic chance for a seasoned marketer to take their skills to the next level. As a Strategic Marketing Expert, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive retention marketing strategies that align with company goals. Your work will have a significant impact on our business, and you will have the autonomy to make decisions and take ownership of your projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing retention marketing strategies that drive customer loyalty and repeat purchases;
  • Creating and managing email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and automation;
  • Developing compelling content and optimizing email deliverability and performance;
  • Managing SEO across different websites;
  • Managing SEM, in collaboration with the Paid Media team;
  • Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) for email, SMS, and affiliate marketing campaigns;
  • Providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategies and achieve KPIs;
  • Implementing influencer marketing strategies;
  • Managing social media channels and acting as a Community Manager for low-engagement accounts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X;
  • Conducting A/B testing for email, SEO, SEM, and affiliate campaigns to determine the most effective strategies and tactics;
  • Collaborating with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure retention efforts are aligned with overall business objectives;
  • Driving integrated retention initiatives and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement;
  • Conducting market research to stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences;
  • Gathering and analyzing customer feedback to understand pain points and areas for improvement;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field;
  • A minimum of three years of experience in retention marketing, with a strong focus on email, SMS, and affiliate marketing;
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful retention marketing strategies;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions;
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo), social media marketing tools, and affiliate marketing software;
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Native proficiency in Spanish;
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, as most of our clients are based in the US;
  • Experience in a creative agency or e-commerce environment;
  • Public Relations & Communication experience;
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems;
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices.
