Job Title: Head of Expansion, Growth and Innovation

Amazon EU SARL (Spain Branch) - C16 is seeking a visionary leader to drive the future of our business. As the Head of Expansion, Growth and Innovation, you will be responsible for leading large cross-functional initiatives that focus on developing future business models, improving customer experience, and driving exponential growth of the International DF business.

About the Role:
  • Create a strategic vision that is bigger than current reality, while executing short-term customer needs with excellence.
  • Develop and lead the program management for all expansions into new Amazon countries, ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.
  • Lead a team of senior operations managers responsible for designing and operating set-ups in new countries, focusing on efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure the setup of operations with the right mechanisms to meet customer promises, measured by delivery estimate accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Launch large projects, driving innovation by taking ownership of new projects and delivering them with success across multiple functions, including product, technology, and capability teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with DF Global Product, Tech, and Capability teams to evaluate, develop, or support new product/service programs that add value to customers and Amazon business teams, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Determine which projects move forward and in what priority order, based on business objectives and customer needs.
  • Manage and solve transportation-related escalations, ensuring minimal disruption to customer experience.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, international business, or a related field.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams, driving collaboration and innovation.
  • Experience in program or project management, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements, driving business growth and revenue.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget, and quality, with a focus on customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
